Top 12
1

CONDADO DE HAZA RIBERA DEL DUERO

Intense Tempranillo characteristics: deep color, concentrated red fruit, long refined finish with light oak notes from the fifteen months in small oak barrels. Red wine from Spain
2

MELSHEIMER RIESLING HANDWERK

A perfect balance between dry and off-dry Riesling. Aromatic nose suggesting tropical fruits, apples and honey, more apples and pineapples on the palate, held together by a crisp acidity that delivers just the right balance between sweet & tart. White wine from Germany.
3

ZENI VALPOLICELLA RIPASSO

Zeni Valpo Ripasso is smoky with quite a diverse array of fruit, showing currants, plums, cherries and brambly fruit, with oak and herbs complimenting the melange of dark fruits. Red wine from Italy.
4

GOULEYANT MALBEC

Gouleyant shows a dark cherry color hinting at the red fruits to come: cherry, raspberry and blackberry. Softer than most Malbecs from Cahors, France, but drier and more balanced than most Malbecs from Argentina, Georges Vigouroux’s Gouleyant is always one of our favorite Malbecs and red wine values. Red wine from France.
5

Mulderbosch Sauvignon Blanc

Mulderbosch is always reliable for a snappy and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. Green figs, gooseberry and citrus make up the classic varietal fruit notes, with herbal and grassy notes intermingling with the delightful Sauvy fruits. White wine from South Africa.
6

SEVEN DEADLY ZINS ZINFANDEL

Big, brawny, yet polished Zin with peppery spice and grilled beef aromas, which yield to a more traditional palate of wild berries, ripe plums, and soft oak, creating a concentrated and relentless finish. Red wine from California.
7

A to Z Pinot Gris

Yet another cooler climate white that we think will be just as pleasant all year, rather than solely in the summer, the A to Z is classic Oregon Pinot Grigio: lots of citrus, lime and grapefruit sprinkled with confectioners’ sugar, and tropical fruits with a crisp finish and lip-smacking acidity. White wine from Oregon.
8

HUARPE BONARDA/PETIT VERDOT RED BLEND

A blend of two of the lesser known red varietals, Huarpe displays an inky violet color, with dark berry and purple flower aromas and flavors. The freshness and delicacy of the Bonarda is sustained by the well-structured Petit Verdot. Red wine from Argentina.
9

DOMAINE WACHAU GRÜNER VELTLINER

Wachau is a great example of good Austrian Grüner; fresh fruit and pronounced minerality result in a crisp, clean refreshing white. Golden delicious apple notes and more subtle exotic fruit notes, white pepper and a medium body make this Grüner especially delightful with seafood or Austrian cuisine. White wine from Austria.
10

Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosso

A floral and fruity nose suggest lightly perfumed aromas, these Nerello Mascalese grapes show crushed raspberries, spice and minerals reminiscent of a supple Pinot Noir. We love the elegance, but good structure from minerally volcanic soil at the base of Mt. Etna and delicious red fruits make this startlingly easy to drink. Red wine from Sicily.
11

LANDMARK CHARDONNAY

Always one of our favorite California Chardonnays, Landmark always finds the sweet spot between big flavor and good balance. Very complex palate-Meyer lemon, pears, apricots, honeysuckle, vanilla and toast, Landmark is reined in by its clean minerality which makes this beauty a perfect pair with poultry or rich seafood dishes. White wine from California.
12

Benton Lane Pinot Noir

This Pinot shows a nice red fruit profile of cherries, cassis and red licorice with a plush and velvety mouthfeel. More red berries and baking spices on the finish make for a perfect example of good Oregon Pinot. Red wine from Oregon.
